Job description:
This is an ideal placement for a marketing student who wants to concentrate on the analytical side of the marketing role. The successful candidate will provide support to all marketing functions.
Duties will include:
* Building Excel spreadsheets and Access databases in order to analyse sales figures and complaints
* Analyse customer recommendations
* Analyse customer base
* Produce marketing reports based on the above
* To assist the rest of the department in general marketing administration (data entry, data analysis, correspondence, etc.) along with general office support.
Essential requirments:
* Good verbal and written English skills.
* PC literate (Word, Excel, Access)
* Understanding of marketing principles
* Good analytical skills
* Eager to develop a career in marketing, particularly marketing analysis
* Own transport (to reach company premises)
Additional requirments:
* German would be an advantage.
* Interest and knowledge of the food industry
* Previous experience as a Marketing Assistant

Internship placement location:
* The company is located in Wilstead, Bedfordshire, close to the county town of Bedford.
* Bedford is a pleasant river-side town, situated near to London, Oxford and Cambridge. It has many places to see, and no end of facilities for cultural and leisure pursuits.
* Bedford has a mainline train service. London in under an hour away.
* Own transport is essential to reach the company as the premises are located 10 minutes drive from Bedford.
Remuneration:
* The successful candidate will be provided with an allowance of £600 per month.
* The candidate will have to locate their own accommodation although the company can assist
* Some food is provided
